Our Commitment to Reducing Carbon Intensity
At Bonioni Group , we are committed to minimizing our environmental impact and contributing to a sustainable future. Our dedication to reducing carbon emissions is reflected in our recent achievements and ambitious goals:
Significant Progress:From 2021 to End of Q2 2025, we successfully reduced our CO2e intensity (per unit of sales) by an impressive 65 %.
These milestones are the result of our continuous efforts to optimize our processes, invest in energy-efficient technologies, renewable energy, the using of decarbonated steel and collaborate with our partners to implement sustainable solutions.
On the road to the future
Building on these advances, Bonioni Group sets a new goal for the 2027 horizon, namely to achieve the ambitious target of 80% carbon impact reduction for scopes 1 and 2 by 2027.
Scope 3 calculation was started in 2024 with the aim of reducing CO2 emissions by 45% by 2030.
Advances in sustainable development
Since 2019, BONIONI has been committed to the ECOVADIS initiative, which covers environmental and social responsibility, ethics, and responsible purchasing.
In November 2025, BONIONI achieved a score of 72/100, placing it in the TOP 15% of companies worldwide.
In particular, BONIONI is developing its Green Steel production!
